(Yes, I realize the necklace is wonky here. )
Still struggling to figure out this camera. It’s a simple little Vivitar, and I looked over the book that came with it, but I can’t seem to work it. Unlike most things these days, I think it actually needs MORE buttons.
I wore this new top I picked up at JCPenney a few weeks ago:
The color is really gorgeous, but I may never wear it again.
Why? Because before I changed out this outfit, I grabbed a screwdriver and drill and took apart the doorknob and lock on my front door, and afterwards, the top was a little grubby, so I sprayed a little Spray N Wash on it, and tossed it in the washer. (It’s polyester, and the washing instructions said I could.)
After I washed it, I hung it up to air dry…and it came out with a spotted print not unlike a purple Dalmation. So I washed it again. And the spots, I kid you not, they moved. And now I’ve washed the blouse about five times, and each time, the spots come and go in different areas. It’s a little unnerving. I’m ready to start photographing it to document the whole thing.
If I can just figure out the camera.

Beautiful blouse, the color is so rich. Somethings those silky type fabrics can be high maintenance even though they are so pretty. Once you get any kind of oil-based stain it’s very hard to get out.
Ugh! Fabrics like that drive me nuts! I’ve got some rayons that do the same thing. They look like some areas are darker, but the next time different areas are. It must be how the fibers dry, maybe facing the wrong direction.
I’m so sorry to hear this because I think you look fabulous in the outfit—a “10″ all the way! The plum color is great on you. You have a talent for putting together ‘skirt outfits’.
I am sorry to hear about that pretty shirt.
Then again… you have an excuse to replace it if you must
