What I wore yesterday

4 Mar

Esprit shirtdress

  • Dress:  Esprit
  • Shoes:  Moda Spana, DSW
  • Belt:  TJ Maxx
  • Earrings:  TJ Maxx

I bought this adjustable belt a few weeks back and wasn’t sure if I was going to keep it, but I finally cut the tags off and wore it.

And, uh… then hung it on a palm tree to take a photo.

And then I put my earrings on it for another photo.

And then, I took a picture of Thelma because she was just laying there chillin’ next to the new fire pit they just came out and finished today.  We haven’t even fired it up yet.

(Oh, and the blue box up there isn’t really Pop Tarts, it’s leftover tile, okay?  Even my kids were bummed to make that discovery.

Speaking of my kids, I guess it’s Spirit Week at their school and today was ‘Crazy Sock Day’.

This is about as crazy as we get around here, because living in Arizona, we barely wear socks, let alone own ‘crazy’ socks.

It was brought to my attention that having the kids each swap a sock would have added to the level of craziness though.

Now you tell me.

Now, that is a great dress. Every woman should have a dress like this in the closet – you can never go wrong with it.
When I was in high school ESPrIT was one of my favorite brands, but then it kind of disappeared from the stores. It had the greatest fabric and the clothes were really good quality.

Thanks, Lorena! I keep looking for a similar dress in navy. I bought this dress from Esprit.com a few years back and yes, compared to most of the clothes I find in stores right now, it is really good quality.

I am back – i have been meaning to ask you what do you cover your pool with ?

Lorena, we don’t cover it all. I don’t think many people in Arizona do. We chose plants for the landscaping that don’t drop a lot of debris and the soil is covered with gravel, so there’s not a lot of dirt blowing into it.

Thanks for stopping by and letting me know what you think!
