My shoes look black in the above photo, but they’re actually brown:
I’ve had the green skirt for a while, and when I brought home the green and navy sweater several months later I was surprised to see how well they matched. I’ve worn this outfit before and I think in person it’s pretty flattering, but it’s hard to see that in photos, so I didn’t post them.
I don’t know if I’m just old school, but I always wear green on St. Patrick’s Day. I even made some kind of sad looking shamrock sugar cookies with green frosting, but that’s about the extent of my holiday celebration:
(My son told me it was a good thing these had frosting on them, or they wouldn’t have tasted like anything.
Uh…okay. So toss THAT cookie recipe…)
I remember making St. Patrick’s Day crafts when I was in elementary school, but I don’t think they do much these days. Of course the timing of spring break around here may be why.
Do you wear green on St. Patrick’s Day or is it just like any other day?

I do still wear green! I didn’t even leave the house yesterday, and nobody else was home, but I had it on, dang it! I like the tradition of it.
I made sure everyone wore green to church yesterday. I wanted to make sugar cookies too, but instead the family voted on homemade soft pretzels. I did hide chocolate coins with scavenger hunt clues and the kids got a kick out of that.
Natalie……you look very pretty as always. I love this color combination and it really suites you well.
I super love your outfit and color combo! score!
So cute, love how you wore the green!
Wow that skirt and top were a match made in heaven – you rock this look.
Where I live St Patrick’s day is not celebrated- although i would not mind baking some cookies….
I just discovered your blog and feel like I’m in seventh heaven because we have a similar body type. I’m curious if your clothes are all from petite departments? Why types of non-petite clothes do you find fit the best? Tops, bottoms, sweaters? I struggle in that area. I feel like I have to purchase strictly petite but always see things
that I like better but are not petite.
